Giving

Like most private schools, The Independent School depends on the generosity of family, friends, faculty and alumni for the funding needed to go that extra mile. Tuition and fees cover about 90% of The Independent School's operating costs. The Community Campaign provides that last 10% which enables our school to fully implement the academic and co-curricular programs that ensure every TIS student a cutting edge, well-rounded education. Since TIS is a non-profit organization, all donations are tax-deductable.

Support is provided and greatly welcomed in many ways. We are thankful for your generosity through monetary means, as well as those who dedicate their time to volunteer or market our school throughout the community. The Friends of the Fine Arts, The Booster Club, and The Parent’s Group are always looking for people to assist with campus events and fundraising projects.

All of us can give something. Your participation at any level tells teachers, administrators, and students that you share their passion for this strong educational community.
